Detailed Itinerary

Upon arrive Hanoi international airport, our driver will pick you up and transfer to the pre-booked hotel in Hanoi city center.

Free time for leisure to enjoy Old Quarter to enjoy the bustling local life. This bustling area of narrow streets and alleys is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers.

    After breakfast at the hotel, our friendly guide will pick you up and start to explore Hanoi City 

    8h00 – 8h30: Our Tour guide and our Bus pick up at your hotel and start to discover Hanoi City

    08h45: Visit Ho Chi Minh Complex, the final resting place of Vietnamese great father or Uncle Ho. You have a chance to see the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh then walk around the garden to see 2 houses where he lived & worked from 1954 to 1969.

    Then visit One Pillar Pagoda where worships the Goddess of Mercy – It is the most unique pagoda in the world.

    - Should dress modestly by covering from shoulders to knees when visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, temples, pagodas, etc.

    - Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays. But still can take picture of the Mausoleum and visit around that area.

    - Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed at least 2 months (15th June -15th August) for the annual maintaining.

    10h15: Visit Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the culture of 54 ethnic groups living in the whole country of Vietnam.

    Special Note: We will visit Vietnamese Women’s Museum instead of Vietnam Ethnology Museum closed on Mondays.

    12h30-12h45: Have lunch at our restaurant. You have an opportunity to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine. Vegeterian foods are available.

    13h30: Visit Tran Quoc Pagoda located on Golden Fish Island in West Lake. It is the oldest pagoda in Hanoi built in the 6th century.

    14h30: Continue to visit Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, The Temple of Literature (Van Mieu Quoc Tu Giam) is one of the most attractive tourist spots in Northern Vietnam. The Temple of Literature was founded in 1070.

    15h30: Keep going to visit Hoa Lo Prison, the prison was built by the French, from 1886 to 1901, when Vietnam was still a part of French Indochina. The French called the prison Maison Centrale. The prison was called “A Hell on Earth” and now the prison is like a war museum for those who want to understand more about the war against France of Vietnamese people.

    16h30: Return to your hotel. You will then have rest of your day free at your own leisure.

      Have breakfast at the hotel and get ready to start your day. (Pickup: 8 am).

      Board your transfers to Ninh Binh province which is blessed with rich natural landscapes.

      Around 10:30 am you will reach Hoa Lu, an Ancient Capital of the Dinh dynasty (968 - 1009); after which 29 years later King Ly Thai of the Le Dynasty moved the capital to Thang Long - present-day Hanoi.

      Visit the age-old temples that have been built on the grounds of the old royal palace to know more about the feudal dynasties and the historical periods in Vietnamese history.

      In the afternoon walk to the boat station and start a 2-hour boat trip to Tam Coc, popularly known as “Halong Bay on land”.

      This boat ride on the Ngo Dong river will take you through the peaceful scenery of the Limestone Mountains, rice paddies, and magnificent temples.

      On the way pass through a series of 3 caves which are named Hang Ca (first cave), Hang Hai (second cave), and Hang Ba (third cave).

      Upon completing the boat ride, continue to ride to Mua Cave (Lying Dragon Peak) to enjoy the spectacular view from the top (500 steps). Enjoy your sunset and begin your journey back to Hanoi.

      Return back to the hotel in Hanoi for an overnight stay.

        To begin the day, we will take a limousine bus tour from Hanoi to Sapa. After approximately 6 hours, we'll arrive in Sapa Town, a gem of Northwest Vietnam, where the vibrant traditional ethnic clothes and markets will fascinate you.

        As soon as you reach the mountainous region, you can feel the different atmosphere. Take in the most of the refreshing air as you start your exciting tour really soon.

        After settling your luggage into the hotel in Sapa town, our local guide will meet you to start discovering the charm of Sapa Town.

        Savor every moment of this captivating town by roaming the local market, tasting delectable local specialties, and finding unique souvenirs at street stalls.

        NOTE: Distance: Travel 283 km by comfortable tourist bus (from Ha Noi to Lao Cai)

          Begin your day with a hearty breakfast, fueling up for an exciting adventure. Then, we will kick off a 6 km exhilarating walk southeast of Sapa. The route goes from the picturesque Muong Hoa Valley to the charming Y Linh Ho village. As you meander through this dreamy valley, be prepared to be mesmerized by the highlights of Sapa’s beauty with breathtaking terraced fields.

          Continue your journey to the enchanting Lao Chai and Ta Van villages, located just 2 km from Y Linh Ho. Unlike bustling Sapa town, these villages are typical examples of tranquil mountainous countryside. 

          Don't forget to engage with the local community and discover the rich mountain life, witnessing firsthand their craftsmanship and immersing yourself in the local tradition.

          After an active morning, indulge in a delightful picnic lunch hosted by a local family. 

          Following the meal, we will resume the trekking tour with a 2 km long route to the Ta Van Village. Check in our homestay and have rest of your day free time leisure at the homestay/ lodge.

          Trekking distance: 13 km

            Start your day with a satisfying breakfast, and charge enough energy for today's adventure. After finishing the homestay check-out, our driver will pick you up from Ta Van and transfer to Cat Cat Village.

            As you arrive, you'll be mesmerized by its rustic charm. With murmuring streams and colorful brocade panels adorning the village, this enchanting ancient village is renowned as one of the most beautiful villages in the Northwest region. 

            We will have an exclusive experience to indulge in a delightful picnic lunch by the riverbank, enjoying the picturesque surroundings.

            Continue your adventure to Sin Chai Village, located at the base of Fansipan Peak, offering breathtaking views of the majestic mountain. Sin Chai has been the ancestral home of the Black H'mong people for generations. 

            Conclude the trekking trip by returning to the main road and taking a car ride back to Sapa town for lunch.

            After lunch, take a limousine bus back to Hanoi.

            Return to Hanoi at around 8 pm. Check in hotel and have rest of your evening free time in Hanoi.  

              Start your day by enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Then, hop on the bus and head to the breathtaking Halong Bay - a renowned Natural Wonder of the World.

              Upon arrival, receive a warm welcome from the cruise staff and embark on your exciting 2-day 1-night Halong Bay cruise. As you sip a refreshing welcome drink, the staff will introduce the safety briefing.

                Wake up early to enhance your health with invigorating Tai-chi exercises on the sundeck, a great way to kickstart your day in the magnificent Halong Bay. 

                You can enjoy a light breakfast before embarking on a last visit to a remarkable limestone cave in Halong Bay, which is renowned for its unique beauty. Fulfill your Halong experience by exploring these natural wonders and marveling at their splendor.

                Afterward, return to the ship and savor a delicious brunch while cruising back to the mainland. Passengers should use these final moments to appreciate the extraordinary beauty bestowed upon these incredible wonders of Mother Nature.

                Bid farewell to the friendly cruise team as you disembark the ship and board the bus back to Hanoi.

                Once back in Hanoi, there's a chance for more exploration. Why not head back to the Old Quarter for a traditional meal of pho? Otherwise, stock up on freshly baked baguettes and bottled water for the trip ahead.

                Our adventure aboard the Reunification Express begins with an overnight journey to Hue. We use 4-berth, soft sleeper compartments, which are simple but comfortable.

                  We arrive in Hue early this morning, another World Heritage site. The pace of life is slow and tranquility prevails in this former imperial capital of Vietnam. Here, we have the opportunity to visit the Imperial Citadel, one of the Nguyen emperors' tombs, the famed Thien Mu Pagoda,

                   

                    Start the day and enjoy a dragon boat cruise on the Perfume River and visit Tu Duc temple. There is time to explore the city's many other Buddhist pagodas, outlying handicraft villages and the busy Dong Ba Market. Enjoying a coffee at one of the atmospheric riverside coffee shops at sunset is also an experience not to be missed.

                      Travelling by bus, we leave Hue and head south through coastal rice paddies to the fishing village of Lang Co, before taking the scenic mountainous route over the spectacular Hai Van Pass.

                      Arrive Danang at mid afternoon. Check in the hotel, then you will have free time at your own leisure by the beautiful beach of Danang.

                        In the center of Vietnam, close to Danang, are the Ba Na Hills, a highland resort. It is renowned for its breathtaking mountain scenery, French colonial architecture, and an array of sights and entertainment choices. Panorama views of the surrounding hills and shoreline are available from Ba Na Hills, which is located at an elevation of more than 1,400 meters above sea level.

                        One of the main attractions at Ba Na Hills is the Golden Bridge, a pedestrian bridge that spans across two mountain peaks and is held up by giant stone hands. The bridge is a popular spot for photos and offers stunning views of the surrounding scenery. Visitors can also take a cable car ride to the top of the mountain, which is one of the longest and highest cable car rides in the world.

                        At the top of the mountain, there are several other attractions to explore, including a French village with European-style buildings, a flower garden, an amusement park, and a wax museum. There are also several restaurants and cafes serving a variety of Vietnamese and international cuisine.

                        Ba Na Hills is a popular day trip destination from Danang or Hoi An, and visitors can spend several hours exploring the attractions and enjoying the scenic views. It is also possible to stay overnight at one of the resorts or hotels located on the mountain.

                          After breakfast at the hotel, we have a few hours enjoy Danang Beach before we travel to Hoian. Arrive Hoian by lunch time. Have a lunch at restaurant before we check in the hotel. 

                          In the afternoon, we take an orientation tour of this beautiful ancient town. A World Heritage site, Hoi An is being beautifully restored and preserved. It's also a shopping Mecca, with much to browse and buy. Choose from original paintings, handcrafted woodwork, ceramics, embroidery, lanterns and more.

                          Hoi An has also become famous for its tailoring and there is a huge variety of fabrics to choose from. Simply bring along your favourite article of clothing or just a photo of what you want and you'll be pleasantly surprised at how quickly and accurately it's copied.

                          Be sure also to indulge in the local cuisine - seafood is a specialty - and relax on the beaches. For attractions further afield, sitting in the shadow of Cat's Tooth Mountain, is a cluster of enigmatic ruins featuring intricately carved towers, tombs and religious tablets. The evening is free and dinner is at your own choice of restaurant. There is no shortage of restaurants either!

                            Join us for an exciting adventure at Cam Thanh coconut village!

                            At 8:00 am, our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Hoian and transfer you to this picturesque destination.

                            Upon arrival, you will have the opportunity to hop aboard a basket boat and embark on a serene ride through the coconut forest. Along the way, your boatman will create lovely natural ornaments from coconut leaves, such as hats, rings, and glasses.

                            As we cruise along the Cua Dai River, you can even join in with the local fishermen and learn how to use a round net or cast net. You'll get to explore the stunning mangrove forest and discover the diverse array of marine life that calls this area home, including crabs, shrimp, and fish.

                            Get ready for some hands-on fun as local people teach you how to paddle a Vietnamese bamboo basket boat. Our knowledgeable guides will also share stories of past wars and the difficulties soldiers had to face. After all the excitement, we'll stop for a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.

                            After lunch, we will have a few hours in the afternoon to discover deeply in this beautiful ancient town.

                            Return to your hotel late in the afternoon. Free time in the evening.

                              After breakfast transfer to Danang airport, where we board our flight to Nha Trang. After lunch at one of the local restaurants, we can check into the hotel and the rest of the day is free to enjoy the sun and white sand of Nha Trang or take a mud bath in a local resort (not included).

                                For those who can get up early, join the rest of Nha Trang with an early morning swim or Tai Chi before our boat trip around the outlying islands of Nha Trang. Swim in the beautiful turquoise blue water and enjoy a fantastic seafood lunch before hading back to Nha Trang and enjoying the nightlife for which Nha Trang is famous.

                                  Free time in Nha Trang at the white sand beaches and enjoy the freshness at seafood restaurants along the beaches.

                                    Breakfast at your hotel before our driver pick you up and transfer to the airport for a morning flight to Ho Chi Minh City.

                                    Upon arrival, our driver and guide in HCMC will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel, where you can freshen up before embarking on an exciting afternoon tour of the legendary Cu Chi tunnels in the afternoon.

                                    Located 60 km from Ho Chi Minh, Cu Chi is a network of over 200km of tunnels that were functioning as underground cities including numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers & kitchens.

                                    Watch a short introductory video on how the tunnels were constructed before heading the explore these tunnels.

                                    There is plenty of evidence of the fierce battle that took place here during the 1960s when Cu Chi was a “Free Target Zone”.

                                    After exploring the tunnels for an hour, head back to Ho Chi Minh city.

                                    Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

                                      08:00 - 08:30: you will be picked up at your hotel in Saigon and transferred to Ben Tre. 

                                      When reaching the local Ben Tre market, we will stroll through the market to the boarding location and board the boat. Let’s cruise to Lan Thanh local factory and learn about the coconut candy's production.

                                      You may participate in the candy-making process under the instructions of local experts, then sample delicious coconut candy, or even purchase some mementos for friends and family when returning home. 

                                      Get back on the boat and proceed to Nhon Thanh market. Try on a 'xe loi,' a one-of-a-kind vehicle in Ben Tre, and observe locals in their everyday lives during the journey. 

                                      At noon, we will take a 5-minute walk to a nearby restaurant for lunch.

                                      Afternoon, walk to the Sampan boarding area. Be ready for a short yet delightful 5-7-minute expedition under the cool shades of water coconut trees. This stunning scenery is perfect for photographers to take countless stunning pictures.

                                      When the tour finishes, get off the sampan and wait for the car to pick you up.

                                      Travel to your hotel in Can Tho. The rest of the day is spent at your leisure.

                                        06:30: You will be picked up from the hotel to the pier for a wooden boat to the Cai Rang floating market - one of the most active floating markets in Vietnam (15-minute transfer). 

                                        Here, you will have the opportunity to find a better understanding of local people's water life, visit a noodle workshop, and try fresh tropical fruits on the way back.

                                        At 10:30, we will check out the hotel and return to Ho Chi Minh city. Our delicious lunch will be served at the Mekong Rest Stop. The trip ends when we arrive in Ho Chi Minh City.

                                          After having breakfast at the hotel, you will have free time until pick up for airport drop off.
