Itinerary
At 08:30 am: Our driver and tour guide will pick you up at the lobby of your hotel in Hoi An for meeting the group and start our morning tour to Cam Thanh Coconut Forest.
We start our morning tour by cycling for about 5 km from the hotel to Cam Thanh Village.
A beautiful morning countryside cycling through out the countryside of Hoian with fresh air and green fields all around.
Arrive Cam Thanh Village, you will experience basket boat ride around the coconut forest, learn about the daily life of Vietnamese fishermen, their families and their community. During the trip, the boatman will take coconut leaves to make funny natural ornaments such as hats, rings, glasses … extremely lovely for you. You will surely experience the feeling of floating on the waves of water and join a equally fun basket boat race between the baskets together in the cheering and bustling music drum.
Board on boat and commence cruising on the Cua Dai River.
Join in local fisherman on the river and experience on round net or cast net. Coconut forest is a very unique eco region, with a beautiful mangrove forest, is the habitat of many precious animals such as, crab, shrimp, fish and even animals soft body.
Local people will teach you how to paddle the Vietnamese unique bamboo basket boat. You will hear stories of past wars and the harsh conditions that soldiers have to endure.
Next, we will cruise along Cua Dai River to Thu Bon River, where you can see the view of Hoi AN Old Town from the waterway.
Once you arrive Hoian Pier, our driver you will pick you up and transfer to a chosen local restaurant in Hoian for lunch.
In the afternoon
Then the car takes you to Hoi An ancient town. It is one of the major trading centers in Southeast Asia during the 16th century due to the early western trader occupying period.
With the guide, you will walk to visit Chinese Communal House, Tan Ky Merchants’ Houses, Japanese Covered Bridge, Hoi an market,..and learn about the daily life of Hoi an local people.
Finish your day tour at your hotel at around 4.30 PM.
